Carla White, owner/designer of c. white designs has been interested in art since a young age. Curiosity led her to explore a variety of outlets to express her creativity. A multifaceted artist, she has explored areas in photography, jewelry design, paper crafts, painting and aromatherapy. Currently focusing her energies in the field of greeting card design, she sells both wholesale and retail and has also licensed several designs within the greeting card industry.
Using minimalism and the use of white space as a guiding principle, she draws inspiration from a multitude of sources including architecture, abstract art and pop culture. Incorporating contemporary trends in color and design she uses acrylics, ink, 3-D paint and computer generated images to create her designs.
The artwork is fresh and contemporary, reflecting a fusion of artistic principles and personal style. Her body of work is continually expanding as designs evolve. Current collections include cards that are individually hand painted, computer generated designs and prints of original artwork. |
